An exciting opportunity has arisen for a resilient and motivated Payroll & Human Resources (HR) Officer to join our fantastic young Human Resources team. You will play a fundamental role in supporting HR, Payroll and Organisation wide objectives. This is a unique and expansive opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team, within a highly respected, not for profit Organisation.

 

Your main duties will include:

·         Manage the outsourced fortnightly Payroll for around 700 employees, working with multiple enterprise agreements.

·         Manage the on boarding process for all our new employees, this includes organising employment contracts and associated documentation, conduct one on one and group orientation sessions, updating all our HRIS systems, follow ups.

·         Manage the cross boarding process for internal employees, prepare paperwork and update systems.

·         Provide broad HR Generalist advice and support in relation to HR and Payroll matters, including but not limited to payroll, wages, leave and other employment entitlements.

·         Update and review the rostering and payroll systems with new and relevant information.

·         Active participation in the full spectrum of recruitment, engagement and other on boarding activities.

 

We seek a resilient, self-motivated and friendly individual with:

 

·     Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or equivalent.

·     A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar payroll and HR related role

·     Demonstrated ability to process and manage payroll as well as related enquiries.

·     Demonstrated ability to complete an end to end employee onboarding process.

·     High level computer literacy and experience working with a HRIS/Payroll and Rostering System.

·     Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
