Project Officer

Temporary Part Time - 16 hours per week (approx 9 months)

The project officer will participate in the development and evaluation of the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD)/Calvary Mater Newcastle (CMN) Network for Advanced Training in General and Acute Medicine. The aim of the project is to join current training networks across the Hunter New England Local Health District to ensure a collaborative workforce for medical trainees, equal access for to training sites and to develop a governance structure for the training network. The project officer will work with the project team across training sites, including Calvary Mater Newcastle, John Hunter Hospital and the Maitland Hospital.  

 

What you bring  

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a health, social science or education discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to implement and prioritise competing tasks according to a project plan and deadlines, including the ability to be self-motivated.
