About the role

The role is responsible for performing clerical functions including admissions, enquiries, discharges, invoicing, reporting requirements in the Transitional Aged Care Service:

  • Provide an excellent level of customer service to patients, families and carers
  • Receive and process new referrals
  • Attend to enquiries and follow up with Transitional Aged Care Service Coordinator
  • Managing invoicing, receipting and accounts receivable
  • Process payments for banking

Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role

Recent experience in money handling, managing invoicing, accounts receivable and record keeping

Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads

Experience working with and the ability to effectively communicate with the elderly and/or people with a disability

Advanced level computer skills across the range of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word and data entry experience

Sound interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision

Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
