About the role

  • Co-ordinate clinical trials at Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
  • Work with the Principle Investigators to implement research protocols.
  • Promote the studies within the Calvary multidisciplinary team and develops strategies to ensure effective research results.  
  • Develop strategies to identify potential participants for the study, manage recruitment and consent of patients to the study and optimise recruitment of subjects to meet agreed target timelines.

What you bring 

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN
  • Excellent oral, written, computer and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team with strong interpersonal skill
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with initiative and a pro-active attitude
  • Demonstrated experience in palliative care/oncology research
  • Demonstrated understanding of palliative care and the sensitive issues of dealing with patients with a life threatening illness.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
