Are you interested in an exciting and challenging role working with a friendly and dynamic team? Our service provides community-based rehabilitation programs for people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury and are living in the community.

We are seeking a permanent part time Physiotherapist to work within a community multi-disciplinary team, treating clients who have sustained brain injuries, predominantly traumatic in nature.

It is essential to have current AHPRA registration and sound clinical experience in the physiotherapy management of adults with Brain Injury or other neurological conditions.

Your main duties will include:

  • Provision of high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions based on sound clinical reasoning following comprehensive assessment
  • Documentation and completion of statistics as per Royal Rehab policy
  • Ensuring that all therapy and intervention is provided within allocated hours for funded clients
  • Attendance and participation at case conferences, goal setting meetings, family conferences
  • Support/participate in clinical research conducted by colleagues and other physiotherapists conducting multi-centred projects

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience including experience in neurological rehabilitation including brain injury
  • Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary team work
  • Demonstrated evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence based practice
  • Demonstrated excellent time management and self organisational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in aquatic physiotherapy
  • Experience with or understanding of funding schemes including icare, NDIS, CTP and NSW Workers Compensation
