Purpose of Position

Provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a community health/hospital/health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for the patient/client.

Full-time Registered Nurse with opportunity to offer permanent part-time and creation of eligibility list for future positions.
Selection Criteria Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA

Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and apply a range of options to develop solutions to avoid future crises in the short term

Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients to understand their needs, enhance service delivery and act on situations when the norm is to wait for a situation to resolve itself

Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner

Demonstrated ability to apply and share professional expertise to immediate work and developments within field of expertise to enhance service delivery

Demonstrated ability and experience to be in charge of shift after hours.
