Purpose of Position

The position of the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing a high level, professional, administrative services to support the functioning of the office of the Clinical Director and Deputy Director of  Mental Health Services SLHD and their Executive Directorates.

Selection Criteria Previous experience in a similar role / position at a senior administrative assistant level

Demonstrated understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality and privacy at the highest possible level.

Sound knowledge of the public health system.

Demonstrated written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and offer a full range of highly developed secretarial / organisational skills whilst maintaining flexibility.

Highly developed computing skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft outlook.

Demonstrated experience in liaising effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the Local Health District, NSW Ministry of Health, Universities and other prominent external organisations.
