Purpose of Position

To maintain high standards of cleanliness consistent with Environmental Cleaning Standard Operating Procedures and Infection Control Guidelines.

These positions are permanent full time and permanent part time (Job share may be considered), working up to 38 hours per week and are classified as a Hospital Assistant Grade 2.

Selection Criteria 1. Demonstrated experience in the role of Hospital Assistant and/or within a commercial/ industrial cleaning environment

2. Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety, in particular Manual Handling

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

4. Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment

5. Demonstrated understanding of Infection Control and Waste Management policies & procedures
