Purpose of Position

This role manages key relationships with individuals, events and community groups and may assist in all fundraising activities for the Oncology area.


To be successful, the position needs to be able to support a diverse range of supporters including patients, their families and the general public. A key KPI is to increase third party fundraising revenue by either increasing the number of endorsed third party events or increasing existing third party net profit.


This position is responsible for ensuring that all authorised fundraisers meet The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s brand and ethics criteria. Attendance at community fundraising events is regularly required.

The position strategically and creatively, is responsible for increasing revenue and the profile of the Hospital.  Critical to this position is the ability to be an integral, committed and supportive team player across a diverse and busy fundraising team and a busy Oncology Department

The energetic rewarding role will enable you to make a meaningful difference to children with cancer through your brilliant relationship skills.  Working alongside a diverse and energetic team you will be responsible for inspiring significant community and corporate relationships to raise funds for the Oncology Department at The Children's Hospital Westmead.


This position is Temporary Full Time up to 14/08/2018 and is classified as an Administrative Officer Level 4.
