Purpose of Position

The Ambulatory Care Administration Officer provides a frontline reception service for patients, visitors and staff regarding amenities and Hospital Clinics for Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital's.

These positions are permanent full time (Job share may be considered) working up to working up to 38 hours per week and is classified as an Administration Officer Level 2.

Selection Criteria 1. Experience in an Administrative role in a Medical/Hospital setting

2. Proven excellent customer service skills in a busy environment

3. Knowledge of Medicare Electronic Billing systems or proven ability to learn new systems quickly

4. Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, individually as well as a team member

5. Exceptional organisational and communication skills

6. Experience in windows based software

7. Knowledge of medical terminology or proven ability to learn quickly
