This position is Permanent Full-Time, classified According to Qualifications.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or welfare related field and current registration with the relevant professional body (as appropriate).
Demonstrated significant experience providing specialist mental health interventions to older people with mental illness/mental disorder issues and/or drug and alcohol issues.
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary Mental Health initiatives and aged care interventions at a state and national level including knowledge of the Behavioural Assessment and Intervention Service model.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to evaluate individual and/or team performance.
Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal, and understanding and experience of skilled partnership work.
Proven ability in strategic planning, policy development, service delivery, and evaluation with respect to Mental Health and/or Drug and Alcohol Services for older people.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
Current licence to drive in NSW.
