Purpose of Position

To conduct independent and comprehensive assessments of the support needs of the frail older person and to facilitate access to available Commonwealth subsised care services appropriate to their longterm care needs. The comprehensive assessment encompasses the restorative, physical, medical, psychological, cultural and social dimensions of care.


This is a Permanent Part Time position, working 24hours per week, and classified as Occupational Therapist Level 2. This position is located in Goulburn which belongs to  Southern NSW Local Health District.

Selection Criteria Relevant qualifications as an Occupational Therapist and eligible for membership to the AAOT

Post graduate experience in Aged Care and demonstrated ability to be informed of current trends in the delivery of service.

Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Assessment Program (ACAP) guidelines and legislative requirements.

Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills including computer literacy.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated ability to organise work priorities and manage time effectively.

Evidence of a current Class C drivers licence, and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
