Purpose of Position	Provide overall operational and strategic management of the Casino and Coraki Hospitals in delivering a comprehensive range of services in accordance with Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) policy and procedure. Promote and facilitate the integration and networking of hospital, allied health, medical and community health services to ensure the delivery and provision of high quality care. Be responsible for financial and budgetary operations of the Casino and Coraki Hospitals including the monitoring and analysis of fiscal performance. Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting authorities while continually monitoring the organisation’s service and delivery systems. The EO/DON of Casino and Coraki Hospitals is a member of the Richmond/Clarence Service Group executive team and as such is charged with fostering productive relationships, achieving key performance indicators and strategic leadership.
Selection Criteria	Current Registration, or eligible for, Nurses Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Current Australian driver’s licence. A record of achievement in managing human, financial and physical resources. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a complex range of multidisciplinary health services within a change environment. Knowledge of clinical redesign and contemporary management practices and health services relevant to a modern acute hospital. Sound knowledge and understanding of organisational behaviour, change management and cultural change. High level of interpersonal, negotiation, representation, communication and liaison skills, and a high level of personal integrity. Completion of tertiary qualifications in management and/or equivalent experience.
