Purpose of Position

The effective Management of Catering, Cleaning Linen and Waste Management services for Oberon Health Service.

16 hours per week as Management


This is a Temporary Part-Time position, classified as General Administration Staff Grade 4, located within Western NSW Local Health District.

Selection Criteria 1. Demonstrated experience within the Hotel Services function, preferably in the Health Service or related fields.

2. Demonstrated ability to plan and organise own work schedule, and that of others.

3. Proven decision making and problem solving skills.

4. Demonstrated ability to communicate, delegate, consult and negotiate.

5. Current Drivers Licence.

6. Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety principles, including Infection Control Guidelines for public hospitals, Manual Handling practices and their implementation.

7. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and professional practice including Food Act, relating to Catering Services.

8. Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
