Purpose of Position	The temporary part-time position of Respiratory Clinical Trials Nurse exists within the Department of Medicine, Central Coast Local Health District. The position provides the Central Coast population access respiratory clinical trials.
	A temporary part-time position (0.8FTE for 8 months) exists at Gosford Hospital in the Respiratory Department for a Respiratory Clinical Trials Nurse. The primary role is to effectively coordinate the Glisten Clinical Trial. This involves client recruitment, testing, data collection, reporting and administrative tasks. The ability to work independently is essential.
Selection Criteria	Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. Demonstrated excellent organisational skills with attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills including knowledge of medical terminology. Relevant qualifications and experience in clinical trials. Demonstrated understanding of relevant privacy legislation relating to medical information. Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Venepuncture and relevant patient diagnostic testing skills. Current Drivers Licence (NSW eligibility).
