Purpose of Position	This position of Registered Nurse will work within a dedicated multi disciplinary team environment aiming to improve the medical patient journey through timely and appropriate assessment, planning and health care delivery.
	An opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to come join the friendly, hard working team on Medical Ward 6, Gosford Hospital. This Registered Nurse position will work within a dedicated multi disciplinary team environment aiming to improve the patient journey through timely and appropriate assessment, planning and health care delivery.
Selection Criteria	1. Registered to practice by Australian Health Pracitioner Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. 2. Recent acute medical experience and or experience with dementia and challenging behaviours. 3. Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. 4. Demonstrated well developed communication skills both verbal and written. 5. A commitment to excellence in nursing practice. 6. A knowledge of dementia management/challenging behaviours. 7. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and education, and a willingness to participate in "evidence based" practice development.
