This position of "RN Diabetes Educator" will work within the Ongoing and Complex Care Multidisciplinary Team, in the Primary and Community Care directorate of Central Coast Local Health District. The Diabetes Educator will provide best practice, evidence based care for all patients in the community with or at risk of diabetes. Furthermore, expert advice will be provided to carers and health care professionals as required to ensure that people with diabetes have a good quality of life. 

Central Coast Local Health District, Gosford offers an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a comprehensive “Best-Practice" diabetes education service.  It is a unique opportunity to develop and expand your broad diabetes knowledge within our integrated Multi-disciplinary Team, whilst providing services in both the hospital and community settings.

• Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and ADEA Credentialed, or willingness to work towards.


• Contributing to the provision of a comprehensive diabetes education service in the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).
