Purpose of Position	To provide effective specialised occupational therapy services for people who have sustained a significant brain injury and their families, within an interdisciplinary team approach. The position is required to provide services whilst clients are in the transitional living unit at Tamworth and to clients living in the community throughout the New England region. The position is based in Tamworth and travel throughout the New England is a requirement of the position.
Selection Criteria	Must hold qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. From 1 July 2012, must hold general registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Evidence of significant graduate experience and advanced skills in Occupational Therapy Management of adults with traumatic brain injury and their families. Evidence of effective advanced written and verbal communication skills. Evidence of effective skills working independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Evidence in providing educational activities to a range of audiences. Demonstrated competence in computer skills for word processing, emailing and internet research. Current Drivers Licence (NSW eligibility).
