This position is Permanent Full Time and is classified as a Staff Specialist, Paediatric Anaesthesia 



The Children’s Hospital at Westmead provides quality care and clinical services to 80,000 sick and injured children each year. It is the largest paediatric centre in NSW and provides excellent care for children from NSW, Australia and across the Pacific Rim. Specialist care is provided to children within a positive, caring and healing environment.



We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Staff Anaesthetist with at least 4 years full time experience in paediatric and neonatal anaesthesia to join the team on a permanent full time basis.


The position of Staff Anaesthetist will ensure that;


• Clinical Services are focused on delivering excellent clinical care to children and supporting their families.


• Research and teaching is undertaken and focused on the area of clinical anaesthesia.


Academic appointments with the relevant University may be available depending on qualifications and interest in teaching and research. Enquiries are welcome once SCHN appointment has occurred.
