The Senior Administrative Officer is responsible for assisting the organisation in ensuring quality iPM system data capture and reporting for admissions, emergency attendances, waiting list, theatre bookings, financial classifications and bed management in administrative systems. This role will work across Patient Services to ensure quality services are provided in all areas and provide backup for the Manager during periods of leave.


What you bring  

  • Working knowledge of a computerised patient administration system in an acute hospital setting including for Admissions, Emergency, Waiting List/Bookings and Reports functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision; to prioritise and process high volume workloads; to produce accurate and timely output; and to motivate and guide staff.
  • Advanced computer skills using health related patient administration systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook email and calendar, Internet and Intranet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
