Position Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to work within the Rankin Court Treatment Centre (RCTC), in the Alcohol and Drug Service. This Registered Nurse will possess the appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. Rankin Court Treatment Centre (RCTC) is part of the Alcohol and Drug Service. RCTC provides outpatient opioid pharmacotherapy treatment, 7 days per week, and is one of five clinical units of the Alcohol and Drug Service at St Vincent’s Hospital which includes the Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS – state-wide telephone service), Stimulant Services, Alcohol and Drug Hospital Liaison and Gorman Unit (residential detoxification). Working within a harm minimisation framework, the suitable candidate will take a clinical role within a multidisciplinary team in managing clients’ opioid dependency, and other psychosocial factors related to their health and welfare.

 

RCTC is open 7 days and the successful applicants will be required to be available to work 7 days; 7.30am – 4pm weekdays and 7.30am – 2pm weekends.
