An opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced rehabilitation clinician (RN or allied health professional) to combine their organisational, supervision and communication skills to manage multiple services to ensure optimum operational performance and client outcomes. You will need the ability to lead and manage change, maintain a positive team culture and work collaboratively with other managers in developing Royal Rehab service delivery into the future.

Main duties for the Manager, Community Rehabilitation Services will include:

  • Lead, co-ordinate, supervise, monitor performance and review the effectiveness of the allied health, administrative and contractor staff across the Community Rehabilitation Service.
  • Overall responsibility of programs delivered by Centre Based Community Services including clinical co-ordination and resource allocation, through support of the CBCS operations manager.
  • Manage, monitor and report on the human, financial and physical resources of the service.
  • Tender writing and negotiation of contracts as authorised and within delegations.

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

  • Relevant tertiary health professional qualifications and significant clinical experience (allied health or nursing)
  • Demonstrated effective management and leadership skills, including the management of a broad range of clinical staff in the provision of clinical services
  • Demonstrated understanding of the provision of community rehabilitation services.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and associated business targets
