Established over a decade ago, Health Infrastructure (HI) oversees a large and complex program of sustainable and innovative infrastructure, delivering extraordinary health solutions to improve the lives of people across NSW. With over 65 projects underway across metropolitan and regional NSW, and a current capital program of $14.4 billion, HI is delivering Australia’s largest health capital program.  HI places its people, partners and projects at the heart of its business, collaborating with its strategic partners across NSW Health, the infrastructure sector, and the community to transform the shape of health care in NSW.


The Chief Executive leads a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of design and innovation, overseeing the planning, design, procurement and construction of health capital works to deliver contemporary, adaptable and well-equipped infrastructure and facilities.  Key priorities will include identifying opportunities to deliver value through a project pipeline encompassing billion dollar precinct redevelopments, new hospitals, community health facilities and ambulance stations; providing client-focused asset management; and balancing the strategic, advisory, technical and operational aspects of the role in a complex governance environment.  The Chief Executive will be expected to nurture a high performing culture and position the organisation for success over the next 10 years and beyond.


Candidates will need to possess broad based leadership experience in the delivery of complex capital works programs, strengths in partnering and stakeholder engagement, and a record of achievement in managing complex operations in a dynamic organisational setting. Candidates will need to be exceptional leaders, commercially astute, customer centric and highly innovative, with the capability to nurture a constructive culture that encourages high performance and fosters collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.
