Purpose of Position

To provide research co-ordination support within the unit for the safe and efficient co-ordination of clinical drug trials and research studies. By providing access to Clinical Trials this role aims to improve health outcomes in the future.

This position is temporary full time (up to 1/9/2017), working 38 hours per week and is classified as a Registered Nurse.

Selection Criteria 1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency ( Registered Nurse –Division 1).

2. Experience in clinical trials and / or relevant clinical respiratory experience.

3. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a team member.

4. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

6. Experience in venepuncture or willingness to undertake training.

7. Demonstrated effective time management and problem solving skills.

8. Computer skills including database entry.
