Purpose of Position

Ensure the security of staff, patients and visitors on the hospital campus in a positive, attentive and prompt manner.

Security Master Licence No 407912677

Selection Criteria Sound written and oral communication skills.

Ability to perform 12 hour shift work on a 24/7 rotating roster.

Experience in responding to changing and challenging situations.

Demonstrated ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, policy and professional standards in the workplace.

Experience in communicating appropriately and effectively in a wide range of complex situations.

Providing services with a strong, responsive customer service focus.

Demonstrated intermediate level computer operating skills. Experience with: security alarm monitoring systems; access building control; CCTV and Radio communications.

Licenced according to the Security Industry Act 1997 – Minimum Class 1A Full licence, unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 licence acceptable) and current Senior First Aid Certificate.
