Purpose of Position

The Central Bookings Officer is required to carry out a variety of administrative duties in accordance with the waiting list/ elective surgery management process. The position requires a high level of negotiation skills to liaise with clinical, non-clinical support staff & the general public to ensure patients are admitted within their clinical recommended timeframes.
