Purpose of Position

The purpose of the position is to provide support to the Immunisation Team, and specifically the School Vaccination Program, while also providing general administrative support across the Public Health Unit.

Selection Criteria Strong written and oral communications skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team including contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.

Problem solving skills are required to develop and complete data analysis protocols.

Ability to contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.

Evidence of sound organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.

Ability to work with limited supervision and to be self-directed where required

Demonstrated high level of competence in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access & Outlook and database entry management.
