The Bureau of Health Information creates timely, high quality public reports and information products on the performance of the NSW public health system. Our team undertakes analysis and interpretation of health service administrative, survey and other relevant data collections in order to:
- evaluate performance of the public health system;
- identify important trends, opportunities for service improvement and potential impact of policy change;
- benchmark the performance of the system through comparisons; and
- assess and disseminate information on the quality of data and data systems in the NSW public system.
This is one of the Program Director positions overseeing teams undertaking research, data analysis to support the development of BHI reports.
The Director Performance Reports will provide leadership, direction and management to a team that will define the content of reports, oversee analysis and interpretation of data, write content in appropriate formats for publication and oversee preparation of reporting products. The Director will be an active member of the Bureau's management team and contribute to appropriate positioning of the Bureau as a respected and trusted provider of information.
