Purpose of Position

This position will assess, develop, implement and evaluate the clinical education

needs of staff working within the ward.

Internal to Sydney Local Health District

Selection Criteria Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) .

Relevant clinical or educational post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.


Understanding and experience in various teaching methodologies

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to give presentations to large groups

Demonstrated commitment to professional development

Ability to work as an effective team member

Computer skills including word processing, presentation and spread sheet applications.

Recent post basic experience in Neurosciences Nursing in an acute setting.
This position requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
