Purpose of Position

To assist in the provision of patient care within the clinical setting by:

  • Assisting with the personal hygiene and needs of patients
  • Repositioning / transferring / transporting patients under the supervision of Nursing/midwifery staff
  • Restocking and transport of equipment as directed by nursing/midwifery staff
