Purpose of Position

To be responsible for the day to day operational activities of the identified Corporate Support and Supply Distribution Centre functions.

Selection Criteria Demonstrated capacity to implement and maintain a systematic approach and effectively utilise resources.

Proven experience in supervising the physical and clerical aspects of receiving and distribution operations including a sound knowledge of materials handling, receiving, custody of goods, distribution and imprest functions, preferably in a Government or Health environment, including a good knowledge of the legislative and safety aspects

Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a diverse workforce

Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication skills including the ability to liaise, resolve issues and maintain effective interpersonal relationships both within the teams and externally

Demonstrated skills in word processing and spreadsheet software, and procurement, logistics, imprest and other database applications

Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor and analyse service activity benchmarks and key performance indicators including analysis of statistical data

Demonstrated high level customer service including proactive complaints management.
