Purpose of Position

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the organisation of an effective and efficient occupational therapy service within an alllocated cloinical caseload. this encompasses ensuing effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery. This encompasses leadership and management, human resource management, continuing improvement, information management and safe practice and environment functions.


P/T Maternity Leave Relief up to the 26th October 2018 with a possible further 12 month extension

Selection Criteria • Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer, and current National Occupational Therapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining a NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.

• Relevant experience, including experience in home visit assessments, equipment prescription and home modifications.

• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

• Effective written and verbal communication skills , including computer literacy

• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Improvement processes

• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education.
