To apply, you need to be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold an appropriate work visa.

Selection Criteria PhD plus considerable post-doctoral experience (minimal 7 years)

Good leadership, interpersonal, communication, oral and written skills

Extensive experience in immunology and molecular biology techniques (see below)

As a minimal, the candidate needs to be proficient in performing flow cytometry, PCR, cell culture, animal handling, immunohistochemistry and protein assays.

Proven ability in developing new experimental techniques or adapt novel techniques to address a specific research question

Experience in using scientific software and relevant laboratory instrumentation

Proven ability to mentor students, supervise junior staff, teach PhD students or deliver training session in his/her areas of expertise

A track record of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals
