Selection Criteria A diploma qualification which meets the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs for children in reference to the Early Years Learning Framework.

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain detailed records of children’s learning and development, displaying a sound knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.

Ability to support and contribute in a team teaching situation to provide a high quality educational program.

Commitment to participate in quality improvement and assessment in children’s services.

Approved child protection qualification (Statement of Attainment), current first aid, emergency asthma and anaphylaxis management training or willingness to obtain.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with the ability to engage conflict management skills effectively.

Ability to work unsupervised and keep to task, displaying a high level of initiative to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
