Purpose of Position

This position supports the Revenue Performance Manager to implement both LHD-wide, and service specific, strategies designed to achieve NBMLHD Strategic Revenue plan objectives, NSW Health Revenue Targets and compliance with NSW and Commonwealth revenue policies and legislation.


The position is responsible for supporting a broad range of work to help build the LHD’s capacity to maximise revenue across all LHD facilities and services including:

  • Being a revenue policy and procedure resource person for all staff (particularly managers, patient liaison officers, admissions, bookings, ED and ward clerks).
  • Revenue related legislation, policy and/or procedure research.
  • Project management support.
  • Private health insurance identification and information monitoring, analysis and identification of areas for improvement.
  • Preparing and updating communication material including revenue information on the LHD intranet.
  • Revenue related meeting coordination.
  • Staff revenue education.
