This position is Permanent Part-Time, working 24 hours per week, classified According to Qualifications.
Recognised tertiary qualifications in health or welfare related field such as Health Sciences, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology/Clinical Psychology, Social Work and eligible for APRHA Registration/Professional Association (where relevant).
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply a range of case management and/or care coordination frameworks and approaches relevant to Child Protection Service delivery.
Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal, and understanding and experience of skilled partnership work.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, with an understanding of the Primary Health Care principles approach to service delivery.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply the Child Protection Act and related legislation.
Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting the mental health of children, adolescents and their families including comorbidity.
Current licence to drive in NSW.
