This is a Permanent Part Time position, working 24 hours per week, and classified as Health Service Manager Level 1. This position is located in Griffith and belongs to Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

Ability to work collaboratively to facilitate a culture that embraces OH&S and risk management and to educate and gain the commitment of managers and staff to meet their responsibilities.
Ability to interpret and explain relevant legislation
Ability to work autonomously in managing priorities to resolve a range of OH&S matter with minimal direction.
Well developed oral and written communication abilities including presentation, liaison, listening, persuasion and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to implement strategic planning priorities.
Demonstrated knowledge of current practices in OH&S with sound understanding of hazard identification and risk management processes.
Certificate 4 in OH&S or equivalent, or alternatively extensive experience and knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation, codes of practice and standards.
Certificate IV - Workplace assessment and training or willingness to work towards.
